Senior DevOps Engineer – Azure Infrastructure & Cloud Operations

About the role

We are looking for senior DevOps engineers to join our Platform Engineering team and build production‑ready, resilient Azure foundations using Terraform, automated pipelines and cloud‑native operations at enterprise scale. The role supports mission‑critical banking applications for Nordic customers and embraces a modern, hybrid work culture.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain enterprise Azure infrastructure as code with Terraform and modular patterns.
• Develop and operate CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps) for automated provisioning and lifecycle management.
• Scale Azure Landing Zones, implement hybrid networking, API management and identity integration across multi‑tenant environments.
• Ensure platform availability, monitor health, create alerts and apply SRE practices to improve resiliency.
• Implement zero‑trust security controls, manage secrets with Azure Key Vault and maintain compliance with Nordic financial regulations.

Required profile

• Deep Terraform expertise with production‑ready modules.
• Strong Azure engineering background (AKS, APIM, Azure SQL, Entra ID, VNets, Private Endpoints, Firewalls).
• Operational resilience mindset with hands‑on troubleshooting and monitoring experience.
• Automation‑first philosophy using CI/CD tools and scriptable workflows.
• Collaborative engineering attitude, sharing knowledge and mentoring teammates.
• Proven ability to design, secure and troubleshoot resilient infrastructure across compute, storage, networking and identity services.
