Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

About the role

Elmed is seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join its growing team. The role involves creating innovative mechanical solutions, performing calculations, and delivering detailed documentation for industrial production projects.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design new mechanical solutions.
• Prepare calculations, sketches, and detailed drawings for assigned projects.
• Generate 3D models of product components using CAD software.
• Write CNC programming statements and oversee CNC model preparation.
• Control quality of manufactured parts and ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Develop material lists, procurement requests, and technical documentation in line with ISO 9001 standards.
• Track production orders, monitor project timelines, and coordinate with other departments.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering (7th level of professional qualification).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical design or a similar role.
• Proficiency with Autodesk Inventor (or comparable CAD tools).
• Strong knowledge of Windows operating system and Microsoft Office suite.
• Good command of English language.
• Valid B‑category driving licence.
