Senior Project Manager – Neuroscience (EMEA)

About the role

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead neuroscience clinical trial projects across the EMEA region. You will act as the primary sponsor liaison, ensuring high‑quality, on‑time, and on‑budget delivery of complex studies in rare diseases, ophthalmology, sleep, epilepsy, psychiatry and migraine.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact between the sponsor and internal teams, managing communication pathways and escalation procedures.
• Lead cross‑functional project teams, defining responsibilities, timelines, and deliverables.
• Oversee financial stewardship, including contract understanding, budget alignment, out‑of‑scope activity management, and negotiation of change orders.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory and sponsor expectations.
• Coordinate with functional leads to resolve technical and operational issues promptly.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing neuroscience or related therapeutic area clinical trials (e.g., rare disease, ophthalmology, sleep, epilepsy, psychiatry, migraine).
• Strong understanding of clinical research processes, sponsor expectations, and regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multi‑disciplinary teams in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
