Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, Vice President

About the role

BlackRock is looking for a senior quality assurance leader to shape automation strategy and raise the quality bar for Aladdin, its global investment operating system. You will partner with engineering, product and business teams to embed quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Own quality attestations and sign‑off for production releases, defining test automation and quality engineering strategy aligned with product architecture.
• Design, develop and maintain scalable automated test frameworks for UI, API, data and non‑functional testing, creating comprehensive test scenarios.
• Lead functional, non‑functional and regression testing activities within an Agile delivery model, using Azure DevOps for planning, execution and reporting.
• Analyze production incidents, identify root causes and drive continuous improvement of QA processes, tooling and coverage.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners and platform teams across regions, providing mentorship and technical leadership to QA engineers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of experience in quality engineering or test automation, preferably in financial services or large‑scale enterprise systems.

Required skills

• Strong experience with test automation frameworks for UI, API, data and performance testing.
• Proficiency in Azure DevOps for Agile planning and test management.
• Hands‑on knowledge of non‑functional testing (performance, resilience, data validation).
• Ability to design shift‑left testing strategies and create automated test suites.
