Senior Site Reliability Engineer

About the role

Acronis is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of its global infrastructure spanning more than 50 data centers. You will work across compute, networking, storage, virtualization, and cloud environments, driving automation and improving observability.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain high service availability for a large‑scale distributed platform.
• Design, implement and operate monitoring, alerting and observability solutions.
• Respond to production incidents, troubleshoot root causes and reduce downtime.
• Automate manual operational tasks to increase efficiency.
• Optimize infrastructure components across compute, networking, storage and cloud.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and engineering teams to enhance system resilience.
• Analyze metrics, logs and performance data to proactively identify issues.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps or systems engineering.
• Strong Linux systems administration skills.
• Professional proficiency in English (written and verbal).
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex production problems.

Required skills

• Configuration management and automation tools: Ansible, Puppet, Terraform.
• Containerization and orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes.
• Monitoring and observability platforms: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK.
• Scripting/programming: Python, Go, Bash.
• Networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing.
• CI/CD systems: Jenkins, GitLab CI (nice to have).
• Database administration: PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis (nice to have).
• Experience with bare‑metal infrastructure at scale and security best practices (nice to have).
