Shopify Developer & CRO Specialist for CPG Brands (Remote)

About the role

The Shopify Developer & CRO Specialist will design, build, and continuously improve Shopify‑based eCommerce stores for consumer packaged goods (CPG) brands. Working remotely, you will translate marketing goals into high‑performing storefronts while driving conversion rate optimization.

Key responsibilities

• Develop custom Shopify themes and functionalities using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Integrate third‑party apps for email marketing, subscriptions, payments, inventory, and logistics.
• Design, execute, and analyze A/B tests to improve checkout flow, average order value, and overall usability.
• Collaborate with marketing and brand teams to align on campaign objectives and onsite experiences.
• Maintain product catalogs, collections, and product detail pages, ensuring seamless data flow with analytics, CRM, and marketing automation tools.
• Monitor site performance, resolve technical issues, and recommend data‑driven enhancements for speed and core web vitals.

Required profile

• Strong front‑end development experience on Shopify, including theme customization and Liquid templating.
• Hands‑on experience with CRO methodologies, funnel analysis, and A/B testing tools.
• Background in eCommerce and CPG product merchandising, catalog management, and checkout optimization.
• Proven ability to work autonomously in a remote, cross‑functional environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Marketing, or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience collaborating with international remote teams is a plus.
