Solution Architect (AI Oriented)

About the role

Synechron, a global consulting firm, is hiring an AI Architect (Solution Architect, AI oriented) for a hybrid position in Novi Sad or Belgrade. The role defines, governs and drives enterprise AI architecture across large AI ecosystems, platforms and transformational programs, covering Generative AI, RAG, AI Agents, Multi-Agent Systems and Enterprise AI Platforms. It works closely with engineering teams and acts as a trusted advisor to business and technology stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive enterprise architecture for AI, Generative AI, RAG, AI agents and multi-agent ecosystems
• Establish AI platform strategies, technology roadmaps, architectural standards and governance frameworks
• Design scalable, secure, cloud-native AI solutions using Azure AI services and modern architecture patterns
• Translate business requirements into solution architectures and implementation roadmaps
• Guide engineering teams on architecture decisions, performance, technical risks and production readiness
• Review solution designs, PoCs, integrations, data architectures and MLOps practices
• Promote AI best practices such as LLM architecture, prompt engineering, orchestration frameworks and Responsible AI
• Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, security and business teams, and mentor architects and engineers

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture, AI Architecture, Cloud Architecture, Software Engineering or related fields
• Proven track record delivering large-scale enterprise technology or transformation initiatives
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, AI, Data Science or a related field
• Valid work permit for Serbia required

Required skills

• Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, AI agents, multi-agent systems, prompt engineering and modern AI architectures
• Hands-on design of enterprise AI platforms and cloud-native solutions on Azure
• Azure AI services, APIs, microservices, distributed systems and integrations
• MLOps, observability, security, resilience and operational best practices
• Responsible AI, governance, cybersecurity, privacy, compliance and risk management
• Nice to have: regulated industry experience, LangGraph/LangChain/Semantic Kernel, Azure Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Apache Spark, vector/graph databases, architecture governance, Azure/TOGAF/Kubernetes/Databricks certifications
