Stone Processing Operator

About the role

The Stone Processing Operator ensures the readiness and safe operation of the crushing plant. The role involves routine inspections, visual checks, and initiating plant start‑up procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Verify the crushing plant is ready for operation before each shift.
• Conduct a visual walk‑around, issue a sound signal, and start the plant.
• Clean broken material around machines, screens, and silos; manage access to parts that need removal, replacement, or repair during stoppages.
• Inspect weighing stations for stone deliveries, check for blockages or contamination that could cause inaccurate measurements, and take corrective actions.
• Participate in company initiatives and projects such as furnace overhauls, TPM (Total Productive Maintenance), LOTO (Lockout/Tagout), and other safety or efficiency programs.
• Maintain high quality of work with precision, accuracy, clarity, and timeliness.

Required profile

• Ability to follow safety procedures and operational protocols.
• Attention to detail and strong observational skills.
• Willingness to engage in continuous improvement projects.

Required skills

• Familiarity with LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) procedures.
• Understanding of TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) concepts.
