Associate DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an Associate DevOps Engineer to join our team in Belgrade. In this role you will support the cloud infrastructure behind Clarivate’s trusted Academia & Government products, develop your AWS and infrastructure skills, learn from experienced colleagues, and contribute to meaningful projects.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS to support scalable and highly available applications.
• Maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform for automated provisioning and configuration.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins to streamline software delivery.
• Write and maintain Python scripts to automate operational tasks.
• Implement and manage containerized applications using Docker and AWS ECS.
• Utilize Git for version control and collaborative code management.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure uptime and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define best practices and improve deployment workflows.
• Stay current with industry trends and recommend innovative tools and strategies.

Required profile

• 0+ years of experience with AWS services, Linux administration, networking, and Terraform or similar IaC tools.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in English.
• Working knowledge of Git and comfort with the command line.
• Familiarity with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or other CI/CD tools.
• Familiarity with Docker or containerized applications.
• Experience with Python or shell scripting.
