Commodity Manager – Belgrade

About the role

The Commodity Manager will be responsible for proactively managing supplier development, performance, and cost reduction for outsource services in the Central European Area. This role involves strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and cross‑functional collaboration to ensure high‑quality, cost‑effective services.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of supplier development and performance, including selection, assessment, negotiations, contract execution, supply‑base consolidation, quality improvements, and cost reductions.
• Execute the outsource services acquisition strategy and drive total cost of services reduction.
• Oversee spend with OSS suppliers in the Central European Area (25‑50 M), covering Labor, Outside Services/Direct, Buffer, and Fleet categories.
• Implement a disciplined process for supplier management, conducting periodic reviews, monitoring performance metrics (quality, cost, delivery, technology, service, leadership), performing root‑cause analysis, and developing improvement plans in collaboration with engineering.
• Lead a multi‑site, cross‑functional outsource services team to analyze spend, develop actionable spend‑management strategies, and proactively manage the supply base.
• Develop and implement spend‑management strategies, including supplier assessments, rationalization, negotiation for total cost of ownership, supplier diversity, and continuous improvement.
• Lead negotiations and finalization of contracts with service suppliers.

Required profile

• Proven experience in commodity or supplier management, preferably within outsource services.
• Experience managing spend of 25‑50 M in the Central European region.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional teams and large projects.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Familiarity with supplier performance metrics, continuous improvement processes, and technology road‑mapping.
