Deployment Specialist

About the role

The Deployment Specialist will plan, coordinate and execute the rollout of software, systems and technical solutions for internal teams and external customers. This role ensures each deployment is smooth, reliable and aligned with business and compliance requirements while providing support during go‑live and stabilization phases.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute deployments across development, test and production environments.
• Coordinate deployment timelines with stakeholders, vendors and customers.
• Prepare deployment documentation, checklists and rollback plans.
• Configure systems, migrate data and validate functionality after deployment.
• Identify, troubleshoot and resolve deployment issues, escalating when necessary.
• Ensure deployments adhere to change‑management, security and compliance standards.
• Provide on‑site support during go‑live and post‑deployment stabilization.
• Train end‑users or hand over solutions to support teams.
• Maintain accurate deployment records and status reporting.
• Continuously improve deployment processes, tools and automation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience delivering software or system deployments in production environments.
• Strong coordination, communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues under time pressure.
• Experience working with cross‑functional teams.
• High attention to detail.

Required skills

• Deployment methodologies and release management.
• Operating systems, networking fundamentals and cloud environments.
• CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
• Cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure and GCP.
• ITIL or change‑management frameworks.
• Scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash).
