Electrical Engineer – Power Transmission & Distribution

About the role

Mott MacDonald is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join its expanding Power Transmission and Distribution team in Belgrade, Serbia. You will work on a variety of high‑profile projects, developing innovative solutions for power grid systems, integrating renewable energy sources, and ensuring the security of electricity supply from concept through delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Develop primary plant layouts for high‑voltage (HV) substations.
• Prepare equipment specifications for HV plant and ancillary equipment.
• Provide engineering design input across project lifecycles, from feasibility and front‑end engineering to detailed design, construction monitoring, and commissioning.
• Coordinate with client project teams and internal disciplines such as civil, structural, environmental, geotechnical, transport, and protection engineering.
