FullStack Engineer – AI Conversational Commerce Platform

About the role

Gorgias is building an AI‑driven conversational commerce platform that unifies sales, support and re‑engagement across the customer journey. As a FullStack Engineer you will design, develop and scale the core platform that powers automated e‑commerce support and sales. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure the system is reliable, fast and observable.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and evolve the AI agent platform, guaranteeing scalability, resilience and high availability.
• Design and implement monitoring and observability strategies using tools such as Datadog and Grafana.
• Collaborate with product, messaging, growth and analytics teams to integrate AI‑driven features into the customer‑support ecosystem.
• Optimize system performance, resource usage and processing speed for real‑time event fan‑out and streaming data pipelines.
• Maintain and enhance voice, SMS and other communication channels.
• Contribute to in‑app analytics and real‑time processing features that support internal tooling and dashboards.

Required profile

• Proven experience building large‑scale backend services and full‑stack applications.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset and ability to design for reliability and performance.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑moving AI product environment.
• Collaborative attitude with cross‑team communication skills.
