GEN(AI) Test Consultant

About the role

Sixsentix is looking for a GEN(AI) Test Consultant to join its testing practice in Serbia. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design test strategies, automation frameworks, and testing architecture for complex enterprise systems, leveraging both traditional QA methods and generative AI technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Define test approaches, automation strategies, and testing architecture for large‑scale applications.
• Develop and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Python (preferred), Java or C#.
• Design, implement and manage comprehensive test suites, including unit, integration and end‑to‑end tests for APIs.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI or Azure DevOps.
• Work with databases to create test data, validate results and manage test data lifecycle.
• Apply prompt engineering, Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) and agent‑based pipelines to enhance test automation.
• Collaborate with development, product, and QA teams to ensure test coverage meets business requirements.
• Mentor junior developers or QA engineers and share best practices.

Required profile

• Strong proficiency in at least one test‑automation language (Python preferred, Java or C# acceptable).
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Solid understanding of API design, testing and security best practices.
• Ability to work with SQL or ORM frameworks for test data management.
• Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and tools.
• Knowledge of generative AI concepts, LLM providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Vertex AI) and related libraries.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
