Group IT Lead

About the role

Tech‑Con is seeking an English‑speaking Group IT Lead to support and develop the group’s IT infrastructure across its locations. Based in Bucharest, Belgrade or Prague, you will ensure systems run smoothly, troubleshoot issues and help implement new technologies as the business expands.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily IT operations, ensuring high availability and performance of systems such as SAP, Power BI and CRM platforms.
• Develop strategic tools (Power BI, SAP Business One, Dynamics 365, MS Office) to streamline processes and generate KPI insights.
• Design and deliver Power BI dashboards and reports for data‑driven decision‑making.
• Configure and optimise Dynamics 365 CRM to support business processes.
• Monitor and report on IT budgets at group and country levels.
• Define and implement a long‑term IT strategy aligned with business goals.
• Establish KPIs to monitor IT asset performance.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to deliver effective IT solutions.
• Lead and develop a small IT team.
• Maintain and improve infrastructure security, ensuring robust cybersecurity measures.
• Lead IT projects such as system upgrades, integrations and process automations.
• Work with the marketing team on website development.
• Travel occasionally to market offices in Hungary, Romania, Poland and the Czech Republic.

Required profile

• Fluent English speaker.
• Strong technical background with hands‑on IT infrastructure experience.
• Proactive attitude and genuine interest in current technology trends.
• Strategic thinking and solid business acumen.

Required skills

• SAP (including SAP Business One).
• Power BI for dashboard and reporting development.
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM configuration and optimisation.
• Microsoft Office suite.
• Cybersecurity best practices and vulnerability management.
• System upgrade, integration and automation project experience.
• Website development collaboration.
