IT Lead Internal Auditor

About the role

Join Clarivate’s Internal Audit team as an IT Lead Internal Auditor. You will lead audits of IT systems, infrastructure and processes on a global scale, helping to mitigate risk and add value across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and report internal audits of IT environments, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies.
• Identify potential risks, test controls and recommend improvements throughout the audit lifecycle.
• Collaborate closely with technology teams to understand system architecture and operational procedures.
• Coordinate and facilitate testing reviews performed by the audit team and conduct higher‑level technical tests yourself.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT internal auditing or Big 4 audit environments (SOX or equivalent IT control testing).
• Professional certifications such as CISA and/or CISSP.
• Strong knowledge of IT governance, risk management and internal control frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO, COBIT, COSO).

Required skills

• Experience with ISO 27001, SDLC, Access Management, Change & Release Management, IT Security, Cloud Controls, Backup & Recovery.
• Data‑analytics tools: Power BI, SQL, CAATs, IDEA, ACL, Tableau (optional).
• Familiarity with enterprise platforms: Oracle, NetSuite, Salesforce, AWS.
• Deep understanding of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity and emerging technologies.
