IT Security Engineer – Focus on SIEM & SOC (m/f/x)

About the role

We are looking for an IT Security Engineer who will lead the development and operation of our SIEM platform. The role focuses on monitoring, analysing and improving security data to detect incidents and support the broader security strategy of the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, configure and optimise the SIEM solution, including dashboards, searches, alerts, use cases and reports.
• Analyse large volumes of security data to identify incidents, mitigate impact and recommend preventive measures.
• Perform risk assessments and evaluate the security posture of new hardware, software and services during procurement.
• Support security audits, prepare audit reports and technical documentation.
• Participate in the implementation of IT security measures across the group.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, IT, Business Informatics or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC) with a focus on SIEM, security monitoring and incident response.
• Ability to understand and investigate network traffic across on‑premise, remote and cloud environments.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; fluent in English and German.
