Junior BIM Technician

About the role

Arup is looking for a Junior BIM Technician to join its Belgrade office and support the delivery of high‑profile mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) projects. You will work closely with senior engineers and BIM specialists to develop, coordinate and maintain accurate BIM models throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Create and update Revit MEP models in line with the BIM Execution Plan.
• Transfer disciplinary data and ensure model integrity under the guidance of the reference engineer.
• Extract information and generate technical drawings directly from BIM models for analysis and documentation.
• Monitor model changes, incorporate engineer feedback, and keep the BIM environment current.
• Support automation of design workflows and assist with the creation of Revit families.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years of professional experience in MEP design or drawing.
• Strong command of English (C1 level) – both written and spoken.
• Proactive attitude, creative problem‑solving skills and a willingness to learn.
• Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.

• Autodesk Revit MEP
• Revit families creation (preferred)
• BIM360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud (preferred)
• Microsoft 365 suite (preferred)
• Solibri, Navisworks and Dynamo (preferred)
