L1 Network Security Support

About the role

We are seeking an entry‑level Network Security Support Specialist to join our team in Belgrade. The role provides first‑line assistance for network and security incidents, monitors alerts, and ensures a high level of customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 support for network and security incidents and service requests.
• Monitor security alerts and promptly escalate potential threats.
• Troubleshoot connectivity, VPN, authentication and access issues.
• Document troubleshooting steps and resolutions in the ticketing system.
• Communicate status updates and next steps to customers.
• Follow established security and incident‑management procedures.

Required profile

• Basic understanding of firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS and Zero Trust concepts.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing and switching.
• Familiarity with common cyber threats such as phishing, malware, ransomware and DoS attacks.
• Experience with endpoint security tools, security monitoring platforms, MFA, SSO and Active Directory.
• 0‑2 years of experience in technical support, help‑desk, network operations or cybersecurity support.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail.
