Mechanical Draftsman

About the role

We are seeking a Mechanical Draftsman to create accurate layouts and schematics for heating, cooling, and ventilation systems. Working under the guidance of senior engineers, you will translate technical concepts into detailed drawings that support our building projects.

Key responsibilities

• Produce detailed layouts and schematics for pipework, equipment, ductwork and related mechanical systems.
• Interpret technical plans and develop correct designs under engineer direction.
• Edit and update AutoCAD and Revit files as project requirements evolve.
• Review specifications, sketches and related data to identify design constraints.
• Prepare electronic (PDF, DWG, BIM models) and hard‑copy packages for client delivery.
• Coordinate with architectural, structural, electrical, fire protection and plumbing disciplines to ensure integrated designs.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum two years of experience as a Mechanical Draftsman.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Autodesk AutoCAD.
• Proficiency with Autodesk Revit.
• Competent use of Microsoft Office applications.
