Planning Manager

About the role

The Planning Manager will develop, maintain and report on master and detailed construction programmes for Modulor’s diverse project portfolio. Working closely with Project Directors, Site Management, Contracts and Procurement, the role ensures realistic schedules, early risk identification and successful project handovers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain master, stage and short‑term construction programmes using Primavera P6.
• Baseline programmes against contract milestones and create detailed phase, trade and look‑ahead schedules.
• Integrate client deliverables, procurement, engineering and authority approvals into a fully resource‑ and cost‑loaded schedule.
• Identify critical path activities, bottlenecks and schedule risks, proposing mitigation and recovery plans.
• Coordinate with design, procurement, manufacturing and site teams to align programme inputs such as drawings, materials and labour.
• Track daily, weekly and monthly progress, compare actual versus planned performance and flag delays early.
• Support tender programme preparation and method statements during bidding.
• Prepare extension‑of‑time (EOT) and acceleration programmes with supporting documentation.
• Present schedule status and forecasts to senior management and clients at project review meetings.
• Maintain a lessons‑learned record to improve future planning accuracy.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.
• 6‑10 years of planning/scheduling experience in construction, general contracting or façade works.
• Fluent English (spoken and written).
• Experience on high‑rise residential or hospitality projects is a plus.
• Familiarity with FIDIC contracts, BIM‑based planning tools or 4D scheduling is advantageous.

Required skills

• Primavera P6 proficiency.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing and Critical Path Method (CPM).
• Ability to produce progress reports, S‑curves and delay/EOT analyses.
