SAP EWM Solution Architect

About the role

The SAP EWM Solution Architect will ensure stability and efficiency of warehousing‑related business processes within MAHLE's global SAP S/4HANA landscape. As a key IT member of the Intra‑Logistics and Warehousing domain, you will design, implement and continuously improve template processes and support regional deployment teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement global template processes covering architecture, development, testing, deployment and delivery.
• Provide 3rd‑level IT support for complex incidents and ensure up‑to‑date documentation.
• Keep abreast of new SAP warehousing functions and integrate them into the global template.
• Collaborate with Global Domain Owners and Global Process Owners to optimise standard processes.
• Evaluate change requests from regional teams, assess impact and decide together with business owners.
• Monitor and support regional deployment teams and drive further development of the SAP S/4HANA EWM template.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science or a comparable field.
• Deep knowledge of SAP warehousing (WM/EWM) processes, customization and development.
• Experience with related SAP modules such as Inbound, Outbound and Production for integration.
• Familiarity with SAP development tools and EWM frameworks (RF, Monitoring).
• Strong conceptual skills for system enhancements and ability to guide developers.
• Project‑management awareness and ability to work under pressure.
• Fluent English; additional languages are a plus.
