Security Architect IV

About the role

The Senior Product Security Architect joins IGT’s Global Information Security team to lead security architecture for customer‑facing products. Reporting to the Director of Product Security, this role ensures that technology solutions are designed, reviewed, and hardened against emerging threats.

Key responsibilities

• Assess technical security measures embedded in solutions and projects.
• Review and align security policies, processes, and artefacts with architecture standards.
• Collaborate with business units to evaluate security diagrams, workflows, and recommend enhancements.
• Model threats, attack vectors and design controls to mitigate risk, including handling SAST, SCA and ICS findings.
• Build and maintain security controls across on‑prem, cloud‑native, multi‑cloud, and hybrid environments.
• Ensure compliance with information‑security and industry standards, and advise on ISMS modifications.
• Recommend cryptography, authentication, network security, data handling, and protocol safeguards.
• Investigate and propose new security technologies for product integration.
• Provide training on secure architecture and work with IT Services on Microsoft, UNIX‑like, and mobile platforms.

Required profile

• Excellent communication, decision‑making and self‑leadership abilities.
• Strong analytical mindset with the capacity to work independently.
• Experience in reviewing and guiding security architecture for complex, customer‑facing solutions.

Required skills

• Programming or auditing experience with JavaScript, Python, Go.NET and C‑family languages.
• Familiarity with SAST, SCA and ICS security testing tools.
• Knowledge of cloud security concepts for on‑prem, cloud‑native, multi‑cloud and hybrid environments.
• Understanding of cryptographic methods, authentication mechanisms, network security, and data protection.
