Senior Android Engineer – Fullstack (Remote)

About the role

Tabby is looking for a Senior Android Engineer to help scale the systems behind its core fintech products. You will work on high‑impact projects in a fast‑growing, fully remote environment alongside a world‑class engineering team spread across more than 20 countries.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Android and backend components for Tabby’s payment platform.
• Scale and optimise high‑traffic systems that process billions of dollars in transactions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver features end‑to‑end.
• Contribute to the evolution of the custom MVI architecture and multi‑module codebase.

Required profile

• Strong expertise in Kotlin and Coroutines.
• Deep understanding of MVVM/MVI architectural patterns.
• Proficiency with Jetpack Compose for modern UI development.
• Experience with dependency injection (Dagger, Yatagan or manual).
• Solid grasp of design patterns, SOLID principles, and collection handling.
• Good communication skills in English and a “getting things done” mindset.
