Senior Full Stack Engineer (Web Focused)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer (Web Focused) to join the Selling team of our General Marketplaces unit. You will help private and professional sellers list and sell items faster, contributing to our mission of giving items a second life.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, test, deploy and monitor web components that enable users to list, manage and optimise their selling inventory.
• Shape API contracts together with backend peers, championing consumer‑driven API development.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across backend services, databases, infrastructure and third‑party integrations when needed.
• Improve the web stack’s resilience, performance, scalability, accessibility and security.
• Contribute to technical direction, engineering standards and architectural decisions for web applications.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong ownership mindset and ability to work in a distributed, international team.
• Experience delivering high‑traffic web applications to millions of users.
