Senior Fullstack Engineer (Python) – Billing Team

About the role

FunnelFox is seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer with strong Python expertise to join its Billing team. The team owns a strategic part of the payments ecosystem and is focused on scaling the platform and expanding functionality for the Web2App market.

Key responsibilities

• Build and evolve core billing functionality.
• Develop reliable, scalable backend systems for billing and payment flows.
• Improve platform reliability, observability, and operational resilience.
• Create monitoring and alerting solutions and assist in incident investigations.
• Collaborate closely with product and engineering to deliver features that drive customer value and revenue.

Required profile

• Strong backend engineering experience with Python.
• Good understanding of distributed systems and scalability challenges.
• Experience with PostgreSQL.
• Working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Background in startup or fast‑changing environments.
• Ability to work autonomously on partially defined requirements.
• Strong ownership mindset and pragmatic engineering judgment.
• Clear communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
