Senior Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance Consultant

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance Consultant to join a major European organisation. You will own Finance‑related processes within D365 Finance & Supply Chain Management and work closely with finance, IT, developers and external partners across several countries.

Key responsibilities

• Own and develop D365 Finance processes including GL, AP, AR and Fixed Assets.
• Gather and translate business requirements into functional designs.
• Configure, optimise and standardise D365 Finance modules.
• Lead international D365 Finance implementation projects.
• Define project scope, objectives and timelines, coordinating internal teams and external partners.
• Support integrations, UAT, training and go‑live activities.
• Provide second‑line support and drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure documentation, compliance and governance.

Required profile

• 3‑5+ years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance or Dynamics AX.
• Strong functional knowledge of General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Budgeting, Reporting and Consolidation.
• Proven experience leading senior roles in international ERP projects.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Fluent English; German is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, IT or related field; relevant certifications are beneficial.
