Senior PowerBuilder Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior PowerBuilder Engineer to take full ownership of our high‑traffic live‑event ticketing platform. You will work on mission‑critical PowerBuilder applications that serve thousands of clients, ensuring they remain stable, reliable and continuously improved.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and extend production PowerBuilder systems, keeping them stable and up‑to‑date.
• Deliver new functionality by translating stakeholder requirements into working software.
• Continuously improve code quality through refactoring and clean‑up initiatives.
• Leverage AI‑assisted development tools such as Claude Code as an integral part of the workflow.
• Collaborate with a long‑standing engineering team, communicating clearly in English.
• Co‑own product features from ideation through release and ongoing maintenance.

Required profile

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, primarily with PowerBuilder.
• Proven ability to work independently while delivering high‑quality code on schedule.
• Strong interest in technology trends and continuous improvement.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
