Senior Project Manager – Technology & Innovation

About the role

The Senior Project Manager will own and drive delivery of complex technology and innovation projects, turning strategic objectives into measurable business outcomes. The role combines strong ownership, tenacity and the ability to navigate complexity while mentoring junior colleagues in the Belgrade team.

Key responsibilities

• Own and drive end‑to‑end delivery of complex technology & innovation projects, ensuring time, cost, scope and quality targets are met.
• Translate business objectives into clear delivery plans, milestones and outcomes, maintaining momentum from initiation through implementation.
• Proactively manage risks, issues, dependencies and competing priorities, removing obstacles and finding pragmatic solutions.
• Build strong relationships across technology, business and other functions, influencing stakeholders and delivery teams without direct authority.
• Communicate effectively with senior executives and ELT members, providing concise updates, recommendations and risk assessments.
• Work closely with technical teams, understand technology challenges and translate them into business implications.
• Ensure projects deliver business value and successful adoption, not just technical outputs.
• Mentor and support junior Project Managers, sharing knowledge and building delivery capability.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering complex technology projects as a Senior Project Manager.
• Excellent senior stakeholder management and communication skills with executive presence.
• Tenacious, proactive and delivery‑focused mindset, able to navigate ambiguity and obstacles.
• Pragmatic, outcome‑oriented approach to project management.
• Strong influencing, negotiation and problem‑solving abilities across organisational boundaries.
• Experience working with technical teams and sufficient technical understanding to engage with architects and engineers.
• Track record of mentoring or coaching other Project Managers.
• Solid experience managing scope, budget, resources, risks, issues, dependencies and governance.
• Relevant Project/Programme Management accreditation.
