Senior Quality Engineer

About the role

This senior quality role goes beyond traditional testing. You will own how quality is built across the product, enabling confidence from design through release. The focus is on shaping testing strategy, driving a quality mindset, and supporting engineers with the right tools and processes.

Key responsibilities

• Own the testing strategy across layers (unit, integration, API, E2E, accessibility, performance, security, manual, exploratory).
• Participate early in discovery and specification reviews to clarify assumptions, surface edge cases and identify risks.
• Design test cases as part of feature development, covering user journeys, happy paths, edge cases, error handling and regression.
• Enable engineers with test suites, regression packs, environments and mock data, fostering a culture of shared quality ownership.
• Maintain a living view of test coverage per feature to drive measurable release confidence.
• Continuously improve automation strategy, reduce flakiness and cut repetitive manual regression.
• Integrate AI/LLM tools to accelerate test case design, automation scripting and exploratory testing.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Senior‑level QA experience with end‑to‑end ownership of testing strategy.
• Proactive, ownership mindset and user‑first thinking.
• Security‑focused attitude and comfort with shift‑left quality practices.

Required skills

• Automation tools: WebdriverIO, Patrol, Selenium, Cypress, Appium, Playwright.
• API and backend testing with Postman or similar.
• CI/CD platforms: Jenkins, GitHub Actions.
