Senior Software Engineer (Platform)

About the role

Altium is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join the Altium 365 Platform team. You will design and build cloud‑native applications that power the most collaborative electronics design platform in the industry.

Key responsibilities

• Develop complex cloud applications and scalable infrastructure for Altium 365.
• Build new cloud‑native services, AI/ML‑driven search, and large‑scale data processing pipelines.
• Design and implement stateful and stateless servers, relational databases, and ORM frameworks.
• Contribute to multi‑tenant platform architecture, performance profiling, load and stress testing.

Required profile

• 6+ years of professional .NET development experience.
• Deep expertise in identity/authentication, access or license management, message queues, distributed caches, ElasticSearch/OpenSearch, and relational database design.
• Proven track record building and operating high‑load distributed systems.
• Ability to influence technical direction across teams and define engineering standards.
