Site Manager – Hydropower Projects

About the role

Voith Hydro is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead the execution of complex hydropower projects across international sites. You will be responsible for overseeing installation, assembly, and commissioning activities while ensuring safety, quality, and schedule compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise electrical installation, assembly, and commissioning on customer sites.
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor daily site operations to meet project milestones.
• Track schedules, workforce capacity, resource allocation, and installation progress.
• Coordinate interfaces between engineering, project management, customers, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Review and approve installation records, measurement protocols, and technical documentation.
• Support site procurement and ensure availability of materials and equipment.
• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with HSE regulations.
• Maintain quality standards, implement corrective actions, and keep project documentation up to date.
• Lead, coach, and optimise multidisciplinary site teams.
• Manage cost control, budget adherence, and contractual requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Several years of experience in electrical installation, commissioning, or site management.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in a construction environment.
• Strong communication skills with customers, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
