Software Engineer (DevOps) – Site Reliability

About the role

Revolut is looking for a DevOps‑focused Software Engineer to join its Site Reliability team. You will design and build scalable infrastructure from the ground up, supporting the company’s rapid expansion into new markets and ensuring high‑availability services for millions of customers.

Key responsibilities

• Build infrastructure and processes that enable 10× scaling and entry into new markets.
• Deliver IaC and CI/CD solutions across multi‑cloud (GCP, AWS) and on‑premise environments.
• Architect multi‑cloud regional failover, disaster‑recovery, and self‑service business continuity plans.
• Design and implement bespoke third‑party connectivity for high‑volume, complex integrations.
• Create and maintain security‑related infrastructure, automate patching, ensure audit readiness, and support regulatory reporting.
• Implement managed services such as PostgreSQL and Redis across cloud and hybrid footprints.

Required profile

• Hands‑on software engineering experience, preferably as a backend developer.
• Strong background with Linux, Docker, and cloud platforms (GCP, AWS).
• Experience with distributed systems, scaling, fault‑tolerance, load‑balancing, networking and security.
• Knowledge of continuous delivery tools like Jenkins or TeamCity.
• Familiarity with configuration management and deployment tools such as Ansible and Terraform.
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Ability to work independently across internal teams and external partners to deliver end‑to‑end solutions.
