Test Engineer – iLottery Platform

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Test Engineer to join our iLottery Platform team. You will play a strategic and hands‑on role in shifting quality left, identifying risks early and ensuring secure, scalable digital lottery experiences for players worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams across Serbia, Iceland and Canada to improve software quality from inception to deployment.
• Act as a subject‑matter expert for the product, defining acceptance criteria and testing focus areas.
• Design, develop and maintain automated API and UI test scripts, and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.
• Conduct functional and non‑functional testing, review test code, and contribute to testing frameworks and tools.
• Document test plans, cases and reports, triage failures, and communicate root‑cause analyses to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent.
• Approximately 5 years of experience as a Test Engineer within a cross‑functional, Agile environment.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented and comfortable working closely with developers and product managers.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with excellent English communication skills.

Required skills

• API testing and automation.

• SQL for basic data validation.
• Experience with at least one programming language.
• Agile development practices.
