West Balkan Warehouse Manager (Maternity Leave Cover)

About the role

The West Balkan Warehouse Manager will cover a maternity leave period, ensuring seamless inventory management and warehouse operations across multiple sites in the region. The role aligns daily activities with the company’s logistics and supply-chain strategy while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily warehouse functions including receiving, storage, picking, packing and shipping.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics with suppliers, carriers and internal teams.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits and collaboration with supply-planning.
• Lead, train, coach and evaluate warehouse staff, setting KPIs and performance targets.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and quality regulations and promote a strong safety culture.
• Monitor order fulfillment, inventory quality and operational performance, applying corrective actions as needed.
• Oversee facility and equipment maintenance, vendor management and cost-control initiatives.
• Utilise WMS/ERP systems and continuous-improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen) to boost productivity and accuracy.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in supply-chain management, logistics, business administration or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of warehouse or logistics management experience, including at least 3 years in a multi-site or regional leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems, inventory control and lean logistics practices.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with ERP systems is preferred.
• Willingness to travel within the West Balkan region as required.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop teams across different locations.
• Excellent analytical, organizational and problem-solving abilities.
