Global Commodity Director – Electronics & Mechatronics Components

About the role

We are seeking a strategic procurement leader to shape global sourcing strategies for electronics and mechatronics components at our Grammer Business Center in Niš. The role will drive cost, performance and supplier partnership improvements across the automotive and industrial sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Define and continuously update the global Electronics & Mechatronics commodity strategy, translating business objectives into sourcing roadmaps.
• Own relationships with strategic global suppliers, lead segmentation, rationalisation and performance improvement initiatives.
• Lead global commercial negotiations, cost‑reduction programmes, value‑engineering and should‑cost analyses.
• Identify supply‑chain vulnerabilities, develop dual‑sourcing and regionalisation strategies, and manage crisis response for component shortages.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration or Procurement; Master’s or MBA preferred.
• 10+ years of strategic procurement experience, including at least 5 years in global category leadership within automotive or industrial sectors.
• Proven track record managing global suppliers, complex negotiations and international procurement teams.
