Revenue & Cost Controller (Remote)

About the role

The Business Intelligence department owns granular financial data and analytics. We are looking for a Cost & Revenue Controller to take hands‑on ownership of the end‑to‑end process of collecting, booking, reconciling and validating cost and revenue data. The role bridges Finance, Business Intelligence and Technology teams.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full cost and revenue collection process, from raw counter‑party statements to final booking, and support onboarding of new products.
• Reconcile counter‑party statements against internal data and the General Ledger, identify discrepancies and develop automated validation controls.
• Translate financial and business requirements into clear technical specifications, follow implementations through testing and production, and validate that solutions reflect the intended accounting logic.
• Manage financial data‑quality incidents, perform root‑cause analysis, and continuously improve and automate reconciliation and control processes using SQL, Claude Code and other analytical tools.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of reconciliation principles, financial controls and accounting.
• Experience working with General Ledger and detailed financial data.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to investigate complex discrepancies and translate financial needs into technical requirements.
• High attention to detail, data‑quality focus and ability to work independently.
