Accounting & Reporting Specialist

About the role

Join PMI in Nis as an Accounting & Reporting Specialist, where you will support the monthly, quarterly and annual closing processes for local affiliates. You will ensure that financial statements are accurate, timely, and compliant with both US GAAP and statutory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Execute month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end closing activities for assigned affiliates.
• Prepare statutory financial reports, ensuring conformity with legal, fiscal and corporate standards.
• Maintain general ledger records and perform account reconciliations.
• Support GL Supervisor in coordinating the MEC process with Affiliate, IBS and BPO teams.
• Perform control and review tasks, including JERF reviews and GMRB dashboard monitoring.
• Participate in global projects such as chart‑of‑accounts changes, data transformation and RRP process updates.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of Record‑to‑Report (RTR) and GL processes.
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.

Required skills

• Proficient use of MS Office.
• Functional knowledge of SAP.
