Manager Accounting & Reporting

About the role

As a Manager Accounting & Reporting you will oversee the monthly, quarterly and annual closing processes for PMI affiliates in the assigned market or cluster, ensuring compliance with legal, fiscal, statutory and corporate standards.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure timely completion of monthly, quarterly and annual closing activities for PMI affiliates.
• Lead the MEC (Month‑End Close) process in collaboration with Affiliate, IBS and BPO teams.
• Monitor balance‑sheet reconciliations, handling overdue items and critical issues.
• Support BPO in issue resolution and coordinate with affiliates, IBS or corporate teams.
• Guarantee that documentation prepared by the GL Retained Team meets SOX, PMI Principles and Finance Accounting Standards.
• Participate in global projects and implement process changes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Solid understanding of Record‑to‑Report (RTR) GL processes.
• Desirable experience in team management.
• Proficient English communication skills.
• Strong coordination and liaison abilities.
• Quick learner with curiosity and initiative.

Required skills

• Functional knowledge of SAP.
• Knowledge of AI tools and new technologies (advantageous).
