About the role

We are looking for a Logistics Engineer to coordinate internal transport operations, manage drivers and forklift operators, and ensure efficient use of machinery across shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Organise the work of drivers and forklift operators within each shift and issue work orders.
• Allocate machines and vehicles to positions according to internal logistics needs and other plant requirements.
• Monitor task completion from work orders and take corrective actions when necessary.
• Report technical malfunctions of machines and vehicles promptly and propose solutions.
• Supervise third‑party contractors involved in internal transport activities.
• Prepare end‑of‑shift reports detailing driver, machine, location, operating hours and quantities handled.
• Conduct periodic inspections and continuously track the condition of equipment such as loaders, bulldozers, forklifts, trucks and tractors.
• Participate in maintenance activities within the scope of personal qualifications.

Required profile

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to schedule personnel and equipment efficiently.
• Attention to detail for monitoring task execution and reporting discrepancies.
• Ability to communicate technical issues clearly and propose practical solutions.
• Experience supervising third‑party service providers in a logistics environment.
• Commitment to safety and equipment reliability through regular inspections.

Required skills

• Knowledge of forklift and heavy‑equipment operation.
• Familiarity with vehicle scheduling and fleet management principles.
• Basic understanding of maintenance procedures for industrial machinery.
