Pre‑Sales Engineer – Huawei Networking (Serbia)

About the role

Ingram Micro is looking for a Pre‑Sales Engineer with deep expertise in Huawei networking and data‑center infrastructure to lead its technical networking pillar in Serbia. You will act as the trusted technical advisor for complex enterprise and public‑sector projects, shaping the strategic direction of Huawei solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide consultative technical guidance and high‑level architectural design for Huawei networking and data‑center solutions.
• Prepare comprehensive technical proposals, accurate Bill of Materials (BOM), and solution architectures for large‑scale and public‑sector tenders.
• Deliver technical presentations, workshops, demonstrations, and Proof‑of‑Concepts (PoCs) that illustrate business value.
• Collaborate with sales and commercial teams to identify and develop new Huawei business opportunities.
• Respond to technical‑commercial requests (RFIs/RFPs) and support the creation of pre‑sales materials.
• Continuously expand expertise through certifications and hands‑on engagement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in pre‑sales engineering, solutions engineering or similar customer‑facing technical roles.
• Proven ability to navigate complex sales cycles and multi‑stakeholder environments.
• Strong collaborative mindset and ability to build trusted relationships with customers, partners and internal teams.
• Advanced English communication skills, both written and verbal.
