Principal 2D Artist

About the role

Playrix is expanding its AI‑driven graphics pipeline and seeks a Principal 2D Artist to generate stylized 2D assets for its flagship mobile games. You will work with cutting‑edge AI models to create high‑quality visuals that reach millions of players worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Generate 2D game assets such as backgrounds, characters, UI elements and match‑3 graphics using AI models (primarily FLUX).
• Craft and refine prompts (prompt engineering) to achieve the desired artistic style.
• Develop efficient production workflows with tools like ComfyUI and Forge.
• Manually retouch, clean up and finalize AI‑generated images in Photoshop.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a 2D artist or AI‑focused visual creator.
• Strong understanding of composition, color, lighting and form.
• Ability to work independently and deliver high‑quality assets on schedule.

Required skills

• Adobe Photoshop
• Experience with AI image generators such as Stable Diffusion or FLUX
• Prompt engineering for visual output
• Familiarity with ComfyUI and Forge workflow tools
