Process Engineer

About the role

Versigent is seeking a Process Engineer to lead the standardisation, implementation and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes and equipment in the final‑assembly production area. You will manage projects, coordinate teams and optimise costs to boost production efficiency and productivity.

Key responsibilities

• Standardise processes, equipment and work procedures for final‑assembly.
• Define technical specifications and procure assembly equipment and components.
• Install, validate and start up equipment (SOP).
• Manage equipment status, investments and new‑equipment procurement with a focus on cost optimisation and lead‑time reduction.
• Coordinate engineering change implementation, new project introductions and continuous‑improvement activities.
• Lead the team responsible for equipment installation and monitor project deadlines, costs, quality and implementation status.
• Participate actively in Lean, Six Sigma, MCIP and IMCIP initiatives.
• Collaborate with central teams to define equipment standards and procedures.
• Prepare samples, coordinate shipments to suppliers and evaluate processes and equipment annually.
• Control and manage equipment inventory (running & idle).

Required profile

• Completed VI or VII university degree (higher education).
• Knowledge of wire‑harness production – final assembly.
• Minimum 1 year experience as a process engineer in final‑assembly.
• Fluent English.
• Advanced knowledge of the MS Office package.
• Strong communication skills.
