Cloud DevOps Engineer

About the role

Merkle, a dentsu company, is looking for a Cloud DevOps Engineer in Belgrade. The role covers cloud infrastructure management, automation of build, test and deployment, operational support and security, working closely with development, operations, QA and security teams.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy and manage cloud infrastructure on leading providers, keeping it available, reliable, scalable and secure, and help design cost-effective solutions.
• Implement and maintain infrastructure-as-code and configuration management with tools such as Terraform, ARM Templates or Bicep.
• Monitor and optimise cloud resource usage for performance and cost.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab or Jenkins, and automate build, testing, deployment, patching, updates and backups.
• Set up logging, monitoring and alerting, and use monitoring tools to give advanced insights into system performance.
• Troubleshoot cloud and application issues, restore normal operations, implement disaster recovery and backup, and support internal and external customers.
• Apply security best practices (identity, network and data security) and support compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with development, operations, QA and security teams, share knowledge, improve processes and document solutions and tools.
