Director of Media Sales

About the role

DesignRush.com, a B2B media platform with over 600,000 high‑intent visitors each month, is looking for a Director of Media Sales to lead and grow its media sales team. This full‑time remote position will shape strategy, drive revenue, and position DesignRush as the go‑to media partner for top brand decision‑makers.

Key responsibilities

• Generate qualified leads and close yearly retainers for media and exposure packages.
• Own the complete brand sales cycle: prospecting, closing, and relationship management.
• Lead, coach, and manage an outbound media sales team, setting monthly and quarterly targets.
• Report sales performance to the executive team and adjust strategy as needed.
• Sell contributor columns, PR campaigns, newsletters, podcast features, digital PR, and social media exposure packages.
• Build trusted partnerships with key clients to increase retention and revenue.
• Maintain pipeline activity in the CRM and collaborate with marketing and Sales Ops.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in media sales with an established network of industry contacts.
• Proven leadership skills in building, managing, and motivating a high‑performing sales team.
• Proactive, analytical, tech‑savvy mindset with a strong growth orientation.
• Exceptional English communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work EST hours and a reliable home office setup.
