Employee Communication & Events Intern

About the role

AUMOVIO, the spin-off of the former Continental Automotive sector, is looking for a student intern (m/f/diverse) for its global Internal Communications team. You will get a behind-the-scenes look at how employees are informed, connected and engaged, and take on your own responsibilities and projects from day one.

Key responsibilities

• Support the design and continuous development of the intranet and other internal communication channels.
• Assist with planning, creating and maintaining content for the employee app myAUMOVIO.
• Support the creation of newsletters and other communication formats.
• Research topics, conduct interviews and write articles and stories in English.
• Work with different functions and business areas to understand the company.
• Analyse communication activities with the team and suggest improvements.
• Create graphic elements and presentations for internal communication initiatives.
• Manage smaller projects independently and propose your own ideas.
• Help prepare, run and follow up internal events for employees and management.
• Support the team with organisational and administrative tasks.

Required profile

• Currently studying Communications, Media Studies, Marketing, Social Sciences, Psychology or a comparable field.
• Strong interest in communications, storytelling and an international corporate environment.
• Good written and spoken English; German is a plus.
• Self-driven, creative, initiative-taking, collaborative and organised.

Required skills

• Confident use of standard Microsoft Office applications.
• Initial experience with content management systems (CMS) is an advantage.
• Knowledge of image or video editing is a plus.
