Finance Operations & FP&A Lead

About the role

This position is the operational backbone of finance for a fast‑moving e‑commerce retailer. As an individual contributor, you will own end‑to‑end finance processes, reporting, cash‑flow visibility and payroll operations while working remotely with a strong overlap to Madrid working hours.

Key responsibilities

• Own monthly P&L, budget vs. actual analysis, cash‑flow forecasting and KPI reporting for the COO/CEO.
• Monitor P&L, perform reconciliations and ensure margin data quality to catch inconsistencies early.
• Map, refine and automate finance processes across internal and external systems, closing gaps and tightening controls.
• Manage payroll operations and coordinate with outsourced accounting providers.
• Work hands‑on across FP&A, controlling and accounting, improving data quality and workflow efficiency.

Required profile

• Proven experience in finance operations, FP&A, controlling or accounting within a high‑growth environment.
• Comfortable handling imperfect data, multiple systems and manual workflows.
• Strong analytical mindset with a builder‑oriented approach to process improvement.
• Fluent English; ability to maintain a 4‑5 hour overlap with Madrid working hours.
