Finance Operations & FP&A Lead

About the role

This is an individual‑contributor position that serves as the operational backbone of finance for a fast‑moving e‑commerce retailer. You will own finance management, reporting, cash‑flow visibility, payroll operations and the processes that keep the business running.

Key responsibilities

• Own monthly P&L, budget vs. actual, cash‑flow forecasting and KPI reporting for the COO/CEO.
• Monitor P&L, reconciliations and margin data proactively to catch inconsistencies early.
• Map, refine and automate finance processes, closing gaps and tightening controls across internal and external systems.
• Work hands‑on across FP&A, controlling and accounting operations, often with imperfect data and multiple systems.
• Drive continuous improvement of finance workflows, documentation and automation.

Required profile

• Experience in finance operations, FP&A or controlling within a lean, remote‑first environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to work with imperfect data and multiple systems.
• Self‑starter attitude capable of taking full ownership of finance processes.
• Comfortable collaborating across continents and aligning with Madrid working hours.
