Financial Planning & Reporting Analyst

About the role

The Financial Planning & Reporting Analyst will support the FP&A Software Business Unit by driving accurate monthly reporting, forecasting, and revenue recognition. You will partner with sales, billing, and executive leadership to ensure financial data integrity and provide actionable insights.

Key responsibilities

• Support monthly reporting processes and KPI contract reviews.
• Collaborate with sales, billing, and leadership to ensure accurate revenue recognition.
• Identify revenue drivers, risks, and provide ad‑hoc analytical support.
• Manage, review, and analyze monthly and quarterly financial results with commentary.
• Execute month‑end close activities, including journal entries and Outlook/Actuals/Flash analysis.
• Prepare complex reports, forecasts, and trend analyses (Q/Q, Y/Y).
• Work independently on projects while adhering to strict delivery calendars.
• Continuously evaluate and improve financial processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Organizational Sciences, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, revenue operations, or business operations.
• Advanced Excel proficiency, including Power Query.
• Strong financial modeling and data visualization skills (e.g., Power BI).
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and project‑management abilities.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
