Gameplay Developer – World of Tanks (Remote, Serbia)

About the role

Wargaming is looking for a Gameplay Developer to help shape the future of World of Tanks on PC. You will work on both client and server sides, creating new game modes and improving existing systems while ensuring high performance and reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement new game modes and gameplay logic using Python.
• Develop high‑performance in‑game components with a focus on memory and execution efficiency.
• Enhance and maintain the existing technology stack.
• Integrate with a wide range of services such as payment, authentication, and analytics platforms.
• Write automated tests to ensure robust functionality.

Required profile

• Proven experience in commercial software development.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
• Hands‑on experience with C++ and/or Python.
• Familiarity with asynchronous and multithreaded programming.
• Knowledge of CPU, memory hierarchy, and virtual memory concepts.
• Experience with databases and message brokers.
• Basic understanding of computer networking.
